Pictures Of You And Me

O-K! I've finally uploaded the pics of me and the girls from SESERI into FB. Its been in the camera for ages and we look soooo anicient now next to the then innocent faces! haha
Thought about the times I felt the journey in SESERI just isnt worth it..
But then again, these photos made me realise something. In every shot, there was someone next to me..and THAT is what matters most. There wasnt a single moment spent lonely and friendless. So, I dedicate this post to all who took a moment off to grace these snapshots..that one second click of the good ol thing called camera surely made million memories! Thanks u guys for being there when I needed you most.

Of right hand grip rule and probability distributions

OK! here's a huuuuuge confession. im so totally freaking out! mid term is two weeks away and i only know about the right hand grip rule from the whole of the physics chapter. and probability distribution in add maths still remain a foreign topic. argh! had the chemistry public speaking competition this morning. was really a weird situation cuz everyone assumed me to be oh-so-perfect in it just bcuz i debate! i mean, since when does that link? well, to me at least. its really frustrating when everyone keeps saying that im kidding when i said i was nervous. clutching the piece of text, i said whatever i had to with the teacher staring as if i was wearing my shoes on my ears while doing backflips. i didnt think i was THAT bad. its just how she looks at people. anyways, i was grateful i scored more girls awake than the previous speaker. poor her, the only students practically awake were the ones waiting for their turns to speak! haha, its not about her fact-filled speech but it was just the nature of the students who doze off whenever someone speaks through a mic-especially when its something academic! 0.O
lesson learnt: never ever assume that someone can do something just because she has done something similar to it. because, even birds can lose the ability to fly. oh and- tips on sleeping during speeches; rule 1-ask someone to be your ears so that you wont be lost in translation when someone magically calls out your name to answer a question (real life scenario) ....rule 2- make an effort not to snore, u wanna make ur escapade hush hush (also a real life scenario)... =.=

had a blog for ages but never knew what should go in it..anyway, just came back from an orphanage- Rumah Titian Kasih. gave me a reason to blog for keepsake. the idea of going there was my idea but the whole messed up process of getting there- not mine! hell, it was sooo messy and thats only because of people who dont even know when is the date of the trip and imagine that person being the backbone of the club. well, she would make one brittle bone. might sound mean but yeah, the times she went clueless were even mean.
the thing is, everything paid off as soon as i saw those faces peering out the windows. to tell the whole process of bonding with the kids would just consume boxes of Kleenex which i dont have at the moment..so its safe to say it was truly rewarding. what amazes me was how they declined our offer to carry out activities with them and opted for something that we would not even make a big deal of it-talking. they actually wanted to talk! and what about? totally random stuff that amazingly included our angkasawan.! (told u it was random) lol. made all of us appreciate huge things in life like our parents right up till little things we often overlook like the oh-so-hard-and-stale boarding school bread that we brought but were wiped out in seconds. all those crap that had to be faced to realise this trip just didnt seem worth fussing on next to those smiles! =)
